2026 Sleepless Chongqing Lifestyle Season Kicks Off

On the evening of July 9, the 2026 Sleepless Chongqing Lifestyle Season officially kicked off at Yangjiaping Pedestrian Street, alongside the launch of the “Night Jiulong · Happy Fiesta” campaign.

The event was jointly organised by the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce, Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development, Chongqing Municipal Sports Bureau, Chongqing Municipal Administration Bureau, Foreign Affairs Office of the Chongqing Municipal People’s Government and People’s Government of Jiulongpo District.Focusing on new formats, new experiences and new consumption opportunities, the season brings together five key areas of Chongqing’s night-time economy.A diverse range of immersive experiences will be launched, including the Chongqing Nightlife Innovation Conference, a football-themed adventure park and youth lifestyle parties. Centred around the new “Super Sleepless City” platform, the Sleepless Chongqing Lifestyle Season will run across the city from July to September.

Throughout the season, municipal and district authorities will work together with major commercial districts, distinctive neighbourhoods and shopping complexes across Chongqing.Activities will centre on five aspects of the night-time economy: dining, shopping, entertainment, recreation and wellness.A packed programme of themed events will include the 4th Chongqing Beer Carnival, Chongqing Xintiandi Night Drinks Culture Festival, the inaugural Yidu Ancient Town Beer, Music and Food Carnival, “A Thrilling Summer” at CIFI Lehuo City, Wansheng Quality Products Livestreaming Season, “Cool Summer · Rock-Bottom Prices” at Chongqing Capital Outlets, “This Is How We Summer” at HUAXI LIVE · Yudong, the Tongnan Water Festival, the Tujia Melodies Special Concert in Shizhu, the “Sleepless Xiliutuo Lifestyle Festival” at Ronghui Xiliutuo Town, the 16th Chongqing International Music and Beer Festival and Wuxi Village BA.Together, these events will showcase the vibrancy and diversity of Chongqing’s summer consumer scene.
